Q: What is the format of this year’s PACS 2021 meeting and when will it take place?

A: The 2021 Post-Acute Care Symposium will now be an in-person event October 30–31, 2021. The 2-day conference will provide clinicians with the tools they need to meet today’s day-to-day challenges with a curriculum that focuses on the strategies necessary for implementing clinical practice guidelines, protocols, and care pathways for wound interventions. 

Q: How do I register myself or a group?

Q: Does my PACS registration grant me access to SAWC Fall?

A: You are welcome to sit in on an SAWC educational session, however, you will not be able to claim credit for that session unless you are also registered for SAWC Fall.

Can I Register On-Site?

Online, advanced registration is strongly encouraged however we will configure the onsite registration areas to allow for social distancing and implement queue lines where appropriate distancing can be enforced.

We will add plexiglass barriers to registration counters to keep you as safe as possible and to support physical distancing measures.

Advanced registration offers the advantage of paying discounted rates and being notified first when the industry-supported meal sessions are open for registration.

Can My Spouse or Child Attend Sessions With Me?

No, only registered attendees are allowed at the Post-Acute Care Symposium. Accompanying persons and children are not allowed at the PACS.

I am a Member of the Press. How Do I Register? 

A press badge will be issued upon presentation of a letter of assignment and an official press card for recognized: journals, magazines, newspapers (trade and mainstream), news agencies, broadcast media, online media, information officers for academic institutions, scientific societies, or registered medical research charities. Freelance journalists are required to submit an official letter of assignment and two bylined medical/health/science articles published within the last 6 months. Representatives engaged in the following activities are NOT entitled to register as media and receive a press badge but may register as regular participants: public relations, sales and marketing, advertising, communication and media agencies, and pharmaceutical companies. Is Luggage Storage Available at the Post-Acute Care Symposium?

No, luggage storage will not be available at the Post-Acute Care Symposium days. Luggage cannot be left overnight.
